We enriched Hult's prospectus with Augmented Reality experiences

Hult International Business School is a world-wide business school with campuses based all over the world. Hult takes pride in their first-class degrees and incredibly diverse and multicultural community. Hult focuses on bringing together creative, open-minded people from all walks of the world to do real life business, not just study it. Greenwood Campbell were particularly excited to work with Hult International Business School on this project as they are such an accredited and admirable business school.

The Challenge

Hult wanted to transform a traditional printed university prospectus into a more engaging, exciting and immersive experience. The challenge was to combine print and digital in a way that felt natural for prospective students, using emerging technology to bring the prospectus content to life.

Print to Digital Experience

The prospectus needed to move beyond a traditional printed format and become more interactive

Student Engagement

The experience had to capture attention and help prospective students connect with Hult in a more memorable way

Augmented Reality Opportunity

The challenge was to use QR codes and augmented reality to create rich digital experiences triggered from the printed prospectus

What We Delivered

We began with a discovery session to explore ideas from both Hult and The Human Tech Agency, assessing each one for impact, feasibility and value to prospective students.

From this, we created five interactive digital experiences, all accessed through QR codes from the printed prospectus. By using web-based technology, we removed the need for users to download an app, making the experience quick and easy to access.

The final experiences included an AR hologram of Hult’s President, animated AR illustrations, a media room with video and audio content, an interactive campus quiz and a “Faces of Hult” student gallery celebrating diversity.

Alongside the individual experiences, we also created a branded microsite where prospective students could access all of the content in one place. The microsite used Hult’s branding in a 3D format, giving users an early sense of the innovation at the heart of Hult International Business School.

We wanted to remove the line from something that is printed and something that lives in the digital world, we always wanted to create that brand experience. The end result when I show the project to friends they really think this is super cool. It feels seamless and also has a purpose. It adds value.
